Obituary of Dominick C. Arbolino Jr.

Dominick Arbolino, Jr. (Donnie), of Netcong, NJ passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 29, 2023 surrounded by his loving family. He was 71 years old. Dominick was born on April 9, 1952 in Dover, NJ to the late Dominick and the late Pauline (Ceddia) Arbolino. Dominick was a welder by trade at Netcong Tank and Castle Fire Protection for many years before retiring. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and collecting seashells on family vacations. Most importantly, he loved spending time with his family and carrying on their traditions. He was a lifelong parishioner of St. Michael's RC Church, a 50 year member and past chief of the Netcong Fire Company #1 and a lifelong member and past president of the Assumption Society. Dominick is survived by his beloved wife of 43 years, Jamie (Smith), his devoted daughters; Jacqueline Arbolino, Katie Madsen and her husband, Tom, Leslie De La Cruz and her husband, Steven and Anna Ziegert and her husband, Matthew and his cherished grandchildren who knew him as their "Pop"; Logan, Luca, Morgan, Scarlett, Noah and Landon. Additional survivors include his sister, Maria DeFazio and her husband Keith, his brother-in-law, Charles Kranz, his nephews, Charles Kranz Jr. (wife, Kim) and Robert Kranz (wife, Deanna), his nieces, Elizabeth Morrissey (husband, Claude), Andrea Almendinger (husband, Micah) and many additional sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. He was pre-deceased by his sister, Linda Lee Kranz in 1998. Dominick's Life Celebration will include a visitation on Friday, December 8th from 4:00 to 8:00 pm at Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home, 150 Landing Road, Landing, NJ 07850. There will be a funeral mass on Saturday, December 9th at 11:00 am at St. Michael' RC Church, 4 Church Street, Netcong, NJ. Dominick will be laid to rest at Stanhope Union Cemetery in Mt. Olive Twp., NJ. All services are entrusted to the Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home of Landing, NJ. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Morristown Medical Center, St. Michael's RC Church, The Feast of the Assumption Society, and/or Netcong Fire Company #1.
