Obituary of Barbara Dubek

Barbara Dubek, 76, of the Kenvil section of Roxbury Township passed away peacefully on Saturday September 16, 2023 at Morristown Medical Center.

Born on June 16, 1947 in Astoria, NY to the late Douglas "Buddy" and Clara Liguori D'Addario, Barbara resided in Queens, NY prior to moving to Kenvil in 1977. She worked as a Buyer for Bonwit Teller Department Store in New York City; and thereafter was dedicated to raising her family in a loving home. Barbara enjoyed the holidays with a particular passion for Christmas. Her hobbies included cooking, shopping, and crafting; along with coordinating & orchestrating the most memorable experiences for her family & friends. Barbara also enjoyed gardening, particularly tending to her Geraniums.

Barbara's greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially as a devoted Wife, loving Mother, and adoring Grandmother.

Her spirit lives on especially through her husband, Daniel Dubek; her daughter Danielle Lynch, her husband James, and their children McKenzie & Aidan; her son Christopher Dubek, his wife Stephanie, and their children Rylan, Jaxon, & Colton; her daughter Lauren Dubek; her brother Douglas D'Addario and his wife Linda; her sisters-in-law Laura Edwards and Florence Dubek; her nieces Christine Pantazelos, Bethany Shuler, and Janet Patti & their families; her cherished extended family including Joe Coladarci III & his family; as well as her best friends Maria Schwab, Fran Norris, and Pat Bailey & their families; and her many cousins near and far.

Barbara's Life Celebration will include a memorial gathering on Saturday, September 23, 2023 from 2:00-6:00 PM at Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home, 150 Landing Road, Landing, NJ. A prayer service will be offered Saturday evening at 5:00 PM at the funeral home. The remainder of services will be private. In lieu of flowers, please consider memorial donations to the Carol G.
