Obituary of Nancy Carol Wade

Nancy Carol Wade, 87, of Hopatcong, New Jersey, peacefully passed away in her home on Sunday, June 7, 2026 Born on September 1, 1938, in Union, New Jersey, Nancy was the daughter of the late Ellsworth Tombs and Jean (Ralston) Tombs. Nancy was predeceased by her first husband, William Wade. She worked for many years as a waitress at Friendly's, where she was known for her cheerful nature and warm smile. Despite being the smallest in the crowd, she was the biggest fan at her grandchildren's sporting events. Nancy was a die-hard Knicks fan and enjoyed walking, kayaking, car rides to admire the horses and birdwatching with her husband. Most of all, she valued spending time with her family, whom she cherished deeply. Nancy is survived by her husband, Francisco Fiallo, three children, William Wade, Gale Wade Sherburne and Russell Wade. She also leaves behind her beloved grandchildren, Robert, Ryan, Tara, David, Adam, and Jamie, and eight great-grandchildren. She will be remembered for her kindness, unconditional love, and appreciation for the simple joys of life. Nancy's memory will eternally live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
